WHAT DOES THIS PROJECT DO?

It provides education, training, and consulting services to livestock operations on the holistic management of soil, pasture, water, infrastructure, and herd. It also designs soil restoration as a short-, medium- and long-term process. It identi es potential customers and stimulates demand for regenerative practice. It researches, innovates, and adapts production practices, and it also systematizes and disseminates experiences.

HOW IS IT GOVERNED?

It is governed through a coordination committee and an ad-hoc management system. Decision- making is based on a business plan.

WHAT IS THIS PROJECT?

It is a partnership between Savory Institute and the University for International Cooperation (UCI).

HOW IS IT VALIDATED?

By counting the number of farm-clients, productivity (turnover versus costs and investment), owners and forepersons involved, additional heads of cattle produced, hectares of land set up apart from cattle, soil quality in transformation, tons of CO2 sequestered, centimeters of soil recovered, mentions in the press, workshops and talks, the effectiveness of promotion campaigns.
